Karin Stadlmann, Christian W. Klampfl, Andreas J. Zemann
In the course of this study the influence of ionic additives (sodium, potassium, lithium, magnesium, and manganese as cations; acetate, lactate, malate, malonate, succinate, and citrate as anions) on the pattern of volatile pyrolysis products of finished pape…
Riza Yukananto, Alexander C. Louwes, Eddy A. Bramer, Gerrit Brem
Supercritical Water Gasification is an efficient technology in converting wet biomass into H2 and CH4 in comparison to other conventional thermochemical processes. Coke deposition, however, remains as a major challenge in this technology. Coke formation is th…
A. R. Magesh, Magharla Dasaratha Dhanaraju
Specific, precise and sensitive TLC-Densitometric method was developed and validated for the simultaneous estimation of N-Acetyl cysteine and Taurine in active pharmaceutical ingredient and pharmaceutical dosage form. An effective separation was achieved on p…
Andrea Carolina Solano Valderrama, Gante Cecilia Rojas De
A simple and rapid Fourier Transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy method was developed to determine the main essential oil components (carvacrol, thymol and p-cymene) in the antimicrobial LDPE films incorporated with oregano ( Origanum vulgare ) and thyme ( T…
Amira M. Hassanein, Youssef I. Moharram, Naglaa F. Oraiby, Sherif E. Ebied
The electrochemical behavior of duloxetine HCl (DXT.HCl) at a carbon paste electrode (CPE) was achieved by cyclic voltammetry and a mechanism of its oxidation was reported and illustrated. A sensitive linear sweep and square-wave adsorptive anodic stripping v…
Yongbo Chang, Yifei Li, Quanquan Miao, Huanshi Jiang, Xin Gao
The rheological properties of six mucilage solutions (Guar Gum, Locust Bean Gum, Tamarind Gum, Flaxseed Gum, Artemisia Sphaerocephala Krasch Gum and Cassia Gum) have been examined. It was found that all six gums could be classified into three different types…
Yan Wang, Yang Jin
In this paper, the feasibility and advantages of employing high performance liquid chromatographic-photodiode array detection (HPLC-DAD) fingerprint combined with chemical pattern recognition for quality consistency evaluation of widely used Rhizoma rodgersia…
Yan Wang, Guoxiang Sun, Yang Jin, Jing Zhang, Jiayue Gao, Eboka Majolene Benedicta Sabi-Mouka
Spectral quantitative fingerprinting including ultraviolet (UV) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) coupled with combustion heat (CH) analytical techniques was employed and compared for rapid screening quality grade and discriminating San-Huang Tablets (SH…
Ruizhi Wen, Muqian Yu, Le Jiang, Lili Feng, Wenjie Deng, Bo Chen
The microscopic properties of NaCl-induced phase separation of acetonitrile (ACN)-water mixtures have been studied by proton nuclear magnetic resonance ( 1 H NMR). Acetonitrile-rich phase increases with increasing NaCl concentration ( c NaCl ) at x ACN ≈ 0.25…
Yuta Muraki, Rei Yamakawa, Masanobu Yamamoto, Hideshi Naka, Atsushi Honma, Johanna Mappes, Kaisa Suisto, Tetsu Ando
Fifteen subspecies of the wood tiger moth, Arctia plantaginis (Lepidoptera: Erebidae: Arctiinae), have been recorded in the Northern Hemisphere. An analysis of crude pheromone extracts by GC equipped with an electroantennographic (EAG) detector showed four EA…
