The apparent solubility controls the initial stage of supercritical fluid extraction of natural products, which is most im portant for the process economics. Based on the literature, data on CO 2 apparent solubility of volatile substances from different matri…
F. M. Gumerov, R. A. Kayumov, R. A. Usmanov, A. A. Sagdeev, I. Sh. Abdullin, R. F. Sharafeev
Experimental results on solubility of the styrene, phenol, methylphenylcarbinol, acetophenone, ethyl benzene, propy lene glycol and molybdenum as a complex with Trilon B in supercritical CO 2 obtained using a dynamic (flow) method are presented. The obtained…

To a llow an easy individuation of the more suitable working conditions (temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.) to be adopted to carry out the extraction of food grade oils from different substrates by supercritical CO 2 (Sc-CO 2 ), a simpli - fied kinetic a…
Shen-Kung Liao, Pi-Shiun Chang
The supercritical fluid is used extensively, especially in substance extraction. The extraction of many substances has reached the economic-scale industrial bulk production stage. However, the research on the wastewater-free dyeing technique replacing water a…

The monomer fraction density based analysis of precise thermophysical data for pure fluids is developed to study the molecular structures in supercritical fluids in general and in CO 2 in particular. The series expansion by powers of the monomer fraction dens…
Dannielle Jannaine Silva, Felipe V. Pietri, José Ermirio F. Moraes, Reinaldo Camino Bazito, Camila Gambini Pereira
The objective of this study was to develop an experimental methodology for the extraction of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from contaminated soil and wood material using the Soxhlet extraction method and supercritical fluid techno logy. The sample PCB cont…
