American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…
Dan Gabriel Cacuci, Ruixian Fang
This work extends to fourth-order previously published work on developing the adjoint sensitivity and uncertainty analysis of the numerical model of a p oly e thylene- r eflected p lutonium (acronym: PERP) OECD/NEA reactor physics benchmark. Previous works sh…

In theorem LP [1], Liu proves the theorem when N = 2, but it can’t be ex-tended to the general case in his proof. So we consider the condition that the families of holomorphic curves share eleven hyperplanes, and we get the theorem 1.1.

We consider the motion of a massive point-like projectile thrown with initial velocity with respect to horizontal in a two-dimensional vertical plane under the influence of gravity in a viscose media. Two different velocity-dependent resistive media models ar…

It is customary to apply Newton’s cooling as the standard model investigating the temperature profile of a hot substance exposed to a cool ambient. The rate of change of temperature in Newton’s model is simplistically related to linear-temperature difference…

In this paper, we consider a fully discrete finite element approximation for time fractional optimal control problems. The state and adjoint state are approximated by triangular linear fi nite elements in space and L 1 scheme in time. The control is obtained…

In search of nonlinear oscillations, we envision a 3D elliptic curva-ture-dependent nonuniform charge distribution to creating an electric field along the symmetry axis causing a massive point-like charged particle placed on the symmetry axis to oscillate in…
Gastón Vergara-Hermosilla
In this work we develop necessary and sufficient conditions for describing the family of anti-Hurwitz polynomials, introduced by Vergara-Hermosilla et al . in [1]. Specifically, we studied a dual version of the Theorem of Routh-Hurwitz and present explicit cr…

There are a few studies that focus on solution methods for finding a Nash equilibrium of zero-sum games. We discuss the use of Karmarkar’s interior point method to solve the Nash equilibrium problems of a zero-sum game, and prove that it is theoretically a po…

In this paper we develop modeling techniques for a social partitioning problem. Different social interaction regulations are imposed during pandemics to prevent the spread of diseases. We suggest partitioning a set of company employees as an effective way to…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
