American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…

The group-theorytic approach is applied for solving the problem of the unsteady MHD mixed convective flow past on a moving curved surface. The application of two-parameter groups reduces the number of independent variables by two, and consequently the system…

The goal of computational science is to develop models that predict phenomena observed in nature. However, these models are often based on parameters that are uncertain. In recent decades, main numerical methods for solving SPDEs have been used such as, finit…

This paper investigates the effect of inflow, outflow and shock waves in a single lane highway traffic flow problem. A constant source term has been introduced to demonstrate the inflow and outflow. The classical Lighthill Whitham and Richards (LWR) model com…

In this paper, we developed a new numerical scheme which aimed to solve some initial value problems of ordinary differential equations. The full breakdown of this new numerical scheme derivation is presented. While in our subsequent research, we shall fully e…

Study to analyze the MHD stagnation point flow of a Casson fluid over a nonlinearly stretching sheet with viscous dissipation was carried out. The partial differential equations governing this phenomenon were transformed into coupled nonlinear ordinary differ…

Queen problems are unstructured problems, whose solution scheme can be applied in the actual job scheduling. As for the n-queen problem, backtracking algorithm is considered as an effective approach when the value of n is small. However, in case the value of…

The dynamics of a unidirectional nonlinear delayed-coupling chaos system is investigated. Based on the local Hopf bifurcation at the zero equilibrium, we prove the global existence of periodic solutions using a global Hopf bifurcation result due to Wu and a B…

The paper focuses on measuring self-similarity using few techniques by an index called Hurst index which is a self-similarity parameter. It has been evident that Internet traffic exhibits self-similarity. Motivated by this fact, real time web users at various…

The present work is devoted to investigating heat transfer and fluid flow in a two dimensional square open cavity containing a heated circular cylinder at the centre. A constant heat flux is set at the left sidewall; high and low temperatures are fixed at the…

The exp (-j(x)) method is employed to find the exact traveling wave solutions involving parameters for nonlinear evolution equations. When these parameters are taken to be special values, the solitary wave solutions are derived from the exact traveling wave s…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
