The planar Ramsey number PR ( H 1 , H 2 ) is the smallest integer n such that any planar graph on n vertices contains a copy of H 1 or its complement contains a copy of H 2 . It is known that the Ramsey number R ( K 4 - e , K 6 ) = 21, and the planar Ramsey n…

Our paper presents a project that involves two research questions: does the choice of a related problem by the tutorial system allow the problem solving process which is blocked for the student to be restarted? What information about learning do related probl…

An algorithm complexity, or its efficiency, meaning its time of evaluation is the focus of primary care in algorithmic problems solving. Raising the used memory may reduce the complexity of algorithm drastically. We present an example of two algorithms on fin…

Utilizing Gamma-Beta function, we can build one series involving reciprocal of non-central binomial coefficients, then We can structure several new series of reciprocals of non-central binomial coefficients by item splitting, these new created denominator of…

This paper considers a new canonical duality theory for solving mixed integer quadratic programming problem. It shows that this well-known NP-hard problem can be converted into concave maximization dual problems without duality gap. And the dual problems can…

A new wave simulation technique for the elastic wave equation in the frequency domain based on a no overlapping domain decomposition algorithm is investigated. The boundary conditions and the finite difference discrimination of the elastic wave equation are d…

Full-waveform velocity inversion based on the acoustic wave equation in the time domain is investigated in this paper. The inversion is the iterative minimization of the misfit between observed data and synthetic data obtained by a numerical solution of the w…

Fractional order controllers have been used intensively over the last decades in controlling different types of processes. The main methods for tuning such controllers are based on a frequency domain approach followed by optimization routine, generally in the…

According to the hierarchical characteristics of monthly rainfall in different regions, the paper takes the geographical factors and seasonal factors into the hierarchical linear model as the level effect. Through clustering methods we select two more represe…

In this paper, we developed a new continuous block method using the approach of collocation of the differential system and interpolation of the power series approximate solution. A constant step length within a half step interval of integration was adopted. W…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
