American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…

This paper proposes a continuous block method for the solution of second order ordinary differential equation. Collocation and interpolation of the power series approximate solution are adopted to derive a continuous implicit linear multistep method. Continuo…

This study is motivated by a need to effectively determine the difference between a system fault and normal system operation under parametric uncertainty using eigenstructure analysis. This involves computational robustness of eigenvectors in linear state spa…

Microbiological experiments show that the colonies of the bacterium bacillus subtilis placed on a dish filled with an agar medium and nutrient form varied spatial patterns while the individual cells grow, reproduce and migrate on the dish in clumps. In this p…

This article deals with the computational stud y of the nonlinear Galerkin method, which is the extension of commonly known Faedo-Galerkin method. The weak formulation of the method is derived and applied to the particular Scott- Wang-Showalter reaction-diffu…

In [1], the author introduced a wavelet multigrid method that used the wavelet transform to define the coarse grid, interpolation, and restriction operators for the multigrid method. In this paper, we modify the method by using symmetric biorthogonal wavelet…

In recent years, the derivation of Runge-Kutta methods with higher derivatives has been on the increase. In this paper, we present a new class of three stage Runge-Kutta method with first and second derivatives. The consistency and stabil ity of the method is…
Marco Schuchmann, Michael Rasguljajew
This article describes how to assess an approximation in a wavelet collocation method which minimizes the sum of squares of residuals. In a research project several different types of differential equations were approximated with this method. A lot of paramet…

This research paper deals with the boundary and initial value problems for the Bratu-type model by using the New Improved Variational Homotopy Perturbation Method. The New Method does not require discritization, linearization or any restrictive assumption of…
Konstantin Kazakov
This paper is devoted to a new approach—the dynamic response of Soil-Structure System (SSS), the far field of which is discretized by decay or mapped elastodynamic infinite elements, based on scaling modified Bessel shape functions are to be calculated. These…

People power is the fundamental concept of democracy and power of the people is exercised though voting. People decide who should be elected to make decisions for them. However, if people do not properly participate in the voting process and only two-thirds o…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
