American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…
Okedayo T. Gideon, S. O. Abah
A numerical analysis has been carried out to study the problem of plane stagnation double-diffusive MHD convective flow with convective boundary condition in a porous media. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations have been reduced to systems o…

This paper, we develop a numerical method for solving a unilateral obstacle problem by using the cubic spline collocation method and the generalized Newton method. This method converges quadratically if a relation-ship between the penalty parameter and the di…

In this paper, we presented an initial value approach for solving singularly perturbed two point boundary value problems with the boundary layer at one end (left or right). By employing asymptotic power series expansion, the given singularly perturbed two-poi…

The best finite-difference scheme for the Helmholtz equation is suggested. A method of solving obtained finite-difference scheme is developed. The efficiency and accuracy of method were tested on several examples.

We have often heard remarks such as “We can plot graphs from the mathematical equations”, including equations of lines, equations of curves, and equations of invisible and visible objects. Actually, we can present each object by mathematical equation and we c…

The functions of Bessel are used extensively in the various problems of the science and the technology. A laser offers practical remote sensing technologies for measuring environmental changes on both global and local scales. We describe a computer model that…

A time-spectral method for solution of initial value partial differential equations is outlined. Multivariate Chebyshev series are used to represent all temporal, spatial and physical parameter domains in this generalized weighted residual method (GWRM). The…

The Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method is a well-known technique for the analysis of quantum devices. It solves a discretized Schrodinger equation in an iterative process. However, the method provides only a second-order accurate numerical solution a…

Characteristics of Mode I crack near the interface of elasticity matched but plasticity and strength mismatched materials differ from those of the crack in a homogenous body. Interface body of different strength influences the plastic or cohesive zone at the…

In this paper, based on the Kirchhoff transformation, the coupling of natural boundary element method and finite element method are discussed for solving exterior anisotropic quasilinear problems with elliptic artificial boundary. By the principle of the natu…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
