American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…

Item response theory (IRT) is a modern test theory that has been used in various aspects of educational and psychological measurement. The fully Bayesian approach shows promise for estimating IRT models. Given that it is computation- ally expensive, the proce…
H. Volkan Ersoy
The aim of this short note is to examine the properties of a special function defined by an integral which was appeared in a paper by Ersoy. It is revealed that the function for is expressed in terms of the gamma function and it varies linearly with for . Its…

In Kriging interpolation, the types of variogram model are very finite, which make the variogram very difficult to describe the spatial distributional characteristics of true data. In order to overcome its shortage, an improved interpolation called Support Ve…

This paper introduces an interval valued linear fractional programming problem (IVLFP). An IVLFP is a linear frac-tional programming problem with interval coefficients in the objective function. It is proved that we can convert an IVLFP to an optimization pro…

The heat generation effects on magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) natural convection flow along a vertical wavy surface with variable thermal conductivity have been investigated. The governing boundary layer equations are first transformed into a non-dimensional form u…

The visual assessment of tendency (VAT) technique, for visually finding the number of meaningful clusters in data, developed by J. C. Bezdek, R. J. Hathaway and J. M. Huband, is very useful, but there is room for improvements. Instead of displaying the ordere…

In this paper we show how the transformations associated with the reduction to the Smith form of some classes of mul-tivariate polynomial matrices are computed. Using a Maple implementation of a constructive version of the Quillen-Suslin Theorem, we present t…

We investigate the FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) model and G-CSF (granulocyte colony-stimulating factor) treatment of CN (Cyclical Neutropenia). We collect grey collies and normal dog’s data from CN and analyze the G-CSF treatment. The model develops the dynam…

The known Fourier-Chernikov algorithm of linear inequality system convolution is complemented with an original procedure of all dependent (redundant) inequalities deletion. The concept of “almost dependent” inequalities is defined and an algorithm for further…

This paper deals with a new higher order compact difference scheme, which is, O(h4) using coupled approach on the 19-point 3D stencil for the solution of three dimensional nonlinear biharmonic equations. At each internal grid point, the solution u(…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
