American Journal of Operations Research (AJOR) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high quality, original papers that contribute to the methodology of operational research and to the practice of decision making. AJOR contains the following types of papers: (1)In…

In this research, we study how artificial neural network can be used in solving both equality and inequality constrained non-linear optimization problems. The procedure involves generating a system of differential equations which must correspond to the given…

In digital marketing environments, consumer preferences exhibit significant dynamic evolution and group heterogeneity. Traditional fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making methods generally assume that preference structures remain static over time, making them in…

Two Mehrotra-type predictor-corrector interior point algorithms are proposed for solving symmetric cone optimization (SCO) problems, using the Euclidean Jordan algebra. The algorithms produce sequences of iterates in the wide neighborhood of the central path.…

The increasing penetration of intermittent renewable energy sources such as solar and wind has heightened the need for electricity demand forecasts that are both granular and available well in advance. While existing studies focus either on short-term hourly…

This study develops an inventory model for perishable items incorporating the effects of age dependent deterioration and age and time dependent demand under effect of inflation. Unlike conventional inventory models that assume a constant or time dependent det…

Sustainability is essential for growing environmental concern especially those related to carbon emissions by the supply chain, and production. In today’s era, mitigating carbon emissions, and waste has become a major concern for a manufacturing firm or indus…

This paper proposes a framework for benchmarking the new product development process of individual companies. The company’s market environment and the internal capabilities (resources) it allocates in order to maximise the effectiveness of new product develop…

The reliance on exponential assumptions in classical queueing models often leads to a misrepresentation of real-world systems where service and interarrival times exhibit more complex variability. This paper introduces the Nova distribution, a novel one-param…

This article examines some of the properties of quasi-Fejer sequences when used in quasi-gradiental techniques as an alternative to stochastic search techniques for optimizing unconstrained mathematical programming models. The convergence and efficiency of th…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.

The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
