The paper solves the problem of the variation formulation of the steady-linear oscillations of structurally inhomogeneous viscoelastic plate system with point connections. Under the influence of surface forces, range of motion and effort varies harmonically.…

In this study, by starting from Maximum entropy (MaxEnt) distribution of time series, we introduce a measure that quantifies information worth of a set of autocovariances. The information worth of autocovariences is measured in terms of entropy difference of…

In this work, we used the complex variable methods to derive the Goursat functions for the first and second fundamental problem of an infinite plate with a curvilinear hole C. The hole is mapped in the domain inside a unit circle by means of the rational mapp…

The design of large disk array architectures leads to interesting combinatorial problems. Minimizing the number of disk operations when writing to consecutive disks leads to the concept of “cluttered orderings” which were introduced for the complete graph by…

In this paper the estimates for norms of solutions to nonlinear systems are obtained via an integral inequality. As an application we considered affine control systems and systems of equations for synchronization of motions.

Invertibility is one of the desirable properties of moving average processes. This study derives consequences of the invertibility condition on the parameters of a moving average process of order three. The study also establishes the intervals for the first t…

In this paper I introduce the geometric notion of a differential system describing surfaces of a constant negative curvature and describe a family of pseudo-spherical surface for Kaup-Ku-pershmidt Equation with constant Gaussian curvature – 1. I obtained new…

A meshfree method namely, element free Gelerkin (EFG) method, is presented in this paper for the solution of governing equations of 2-D potential problems. The EFG method is a numerical method which uses nodal points in order to discretize the computational d…

Short Retraction Notice The substantial portions of the text came from ABDOLAMIR KARBALAIE et al, "Exact Solution of Time-Fractional Partial Differential Equations Using Sumudu Transform". This article has been retracted to straighten the academic record. In…

A ghostbursting model is a mathematical model (a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations) that is based on the Hodgkin-Huxley formalism. The ghostbursting model describes bursting similar to the in vitro bursting of electrosensory neurons…

Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
