Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

During the assembly of internal combustion engines, the specific size of crankshaft shell bearing is not known until the crankshaft is fitted to the engine block. Though the build requirements for the engine are consistent, the consumption profile of the diff…

The Paraconsistent Logic (PL) is a non-classical logic and its main property is to present tolerance for contradiction in its fundamentals without the invalidation of the conclusions. In this paper, we use the PL in its annotated form, denominated Paraconsist…

Pesticides are substances used to prevent, destroy or mitigate any pest. We have adopted in this paper the Cellular Automata model to study the dispersion of the aphids in the block of citric trees using the pesticides (chemical control) and the biological ag…

To solve the equation for gravity-gyroscopic waves in a rectangular domain, the distinguished algorithm for the solution of the Cauchy problem for a second-order transient equation is proposed. This algorithm is developed by using the time-varying finite elem…

This article discusses the question of how elasticity of the system is intertwined with external stochastic disturbances. The speed at which a displaced system returns to its equilibrium is a measure of density dependence in population dynamics. Population dy…

A two-species predator-prey system with time delay in a two-patch environment is investigated. By using a continuation theorem based on coincidence degree theory, we obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solution for the system.

The aim of this paper is to give some analytic functions which are related to the generating functions for the central factorial numbers. By using these functions and p -adic Volkenborn integral, we derive many new identities associated with the Bernoulli and…

Several links between continued fractions and classical and less classical constructions in dynamical systems theory are presented and discussed.
Jietae Lee, Dong Hyun Kim
Heat conduction dynamics are described by partial differential equations. Their approximations with a set of finite number of ordinary differential equations are often required for simpler computations and analyses. Rational approximations of the Laplace solu…

A function f(z) defined on the unit disc U is said to be logharmonic if it is the solution of the nonlinear elliptic partial differential equation where such that . These mappings admit a global representation of the form where In this paper,we shall consider…
