In this paper we investigate optimal control problems governed by a advection-diffusion-reaction equation. We present a method for deriving conditions in the form of Pontryagin’s principle. The main tools used are the Ekeland’s variational principle combined…

In this paper, we consider an SIR-model for which the interaction term is the square root of the susceptible and infected individuals in the form of fractional order differential equations. First the non-negative solution of the model in fractional order is p…

In this paper we introduce a classical SI model to capture the spread of an infectious disease within a population. More precisely, the spatial diffusion of HIV/AIDS in a population is modeled. For that, we assume that the spread is due to the anarchical comp…

Let G be a graph. If there exists a spanning subgraph F such that d F ( x ) ∈ {1,3,…2 n – 1}, then is called to be (1,2 n – 1)-odd factor of G . Some sufficient and necessary conditions are given for G – U to have (1,2 n – 1)-odd factor where U is any subset…

A simulation algorithm concerning problem B of 09 CUMCM is given. By introducing the concept of bed vector, clinic matrix, arrangement matrix and priority vector, the information about clinic, bed and arrangement will be stored and analyzed via MATLAB. By the…

Iterative methods for solving discrete optimal control problems are constructed and investigated. These discrete problems arise when approximating by finite difference method or by finite element method the optimal control problems which contain a linear elli…

In this paper we have established the stability of a generalized nonlinear second-order differential equation in the sense of Hyers and Ulam. We also have proved the Hyers-Ulam stability of Emden-Fowler type equation with initial condi tions.

The main object of this paper is to study some properties of certain subclass of analytic functions with negative coefficients defined by a linear operator in the open unit disc. These properties include the coefficient estimates, closure properties, distorti…

Many problems in physics are inherently of multi-scale nature. The issues of MHD turbulence or magnetic reconnection, namely in the hot and sparse, almost collision-less astrophysical plasmas, can stand as clear examples. The Finite Element Method (FEM) with…

Nonparametric method based on the mutual information is an efficient technique for the image segmentation. In this method, the image is divided into the internal and external labeled regions, and the segmentation problem constrained by the total length of the…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
