Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

In this note we consider a class of environmental games recently proposed in the literature and investigate them by using the powerful tools of variational inequalities. We also consider the case where some data of the problem can depend on a parameter and an…

The concept of H-decompositions of graphs was first introduced by Erd?s, Goodman and Pósa in 1966, who were motivated by the problem of representing graphs by set intersections. Given graphs G and H, an H-decomposition of G is a partition of the edge set of G…

In this paper we develop equivalent problems for the Discrete Agglomeration Model in the continuous context.

This paper provides a simple proof for the Perron-Frobenius theorem concerned with positive matrices using a homotopy technique. By analyzing the behaviour of the eigenvalues of a family of positive matrices, we observe that the conclusions of Perron-Frobeniu…

We study waiting time problems for first-order Markov dependent trials via conditional probability generating functions. Our models involve α frequency cells and β run cells with prescribed quotas and an additional γ slack cells without quotas. For any given…

We show a result of symmetry for a big class of problems with condition of Neumann on the boundary in the case one dimensional. We use the method of reflection of Alexandrov and we show one application of this method and the maximum principle for elliptic ope…
Ling Chun, Feng Qi
In the paper, the authors find some new inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for functions whose third derivatives are s-convex and apply these inequalities to discover inequalities for special means.
Honglong You, Chuancun Yin
In this paper, we consider a Brownian motion risk model with stochastic return on investments. Using the strong Markov property and exploiting the limitation idea, we derive the Laplace-Stieltjes Transform(LST) of the total duration of negative surplus. In ad…

In plasmonic systems, the response of nanoobjects under light illumination can produce complex optical maps. Such plasmonic or resonant systems have interesting characteristics such as sensitivity on parameters and initial conditions. In this paper, we show h…

In this paper, we consider a leptospirosis epidemic model to implement optimal campaign by using multiple control variables. First, we show the existence of the control problem. Then we derive the conditions under which it is optimal to eradicate the leptospi…

On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
