Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

In this paper, some new unique common fixed points for four mappings satisfying Ф-contractive conditions on non-complete 2-metric spaces are obtained, in which the mappings do not satisfy continuity and commutation. The main results generalize and improve man…
Wei Xing, Boying Wu
In this paper, we propose a homotopy continuous method (HCM) for solving a weak efficient solution of multiobjective optimization problem (MOP) with feasible set unbounded condition, which is arising in Economical Distributions, Engineering Decisions, Resourc…

The objective of this paper is to attempt to apply the theoretical techniques of probabilistic functional analysis to answer the question of existence and Uniqueness of a Random Solution to It? Stochastic Integral Equation. Another type of stochastic integral…

In this article, the problem of mixed convection boundary layer flow of viscous fluid along a heated vertical plate is examined. In the analysis radiative component of heat flux emulates the surface temperature. Appropriate set of variables are embraced here…

We study a firm that has a conventional plant and considers introducing a new plant as an alternative to generate electricity. The firm’s decision includes the optimal entry time for the new plant, and the optimal dispatch between the existing plant and the n…

The prediction of water quality in terms of variables like dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), pH value, total dissolved solids (TDS) and salinity etc. is useful for evaluating the use of water for various related purposes. The widely used…

Certain refinements and generalizations of some well known inequalities concerning the polynomials and their derivatives are obtained.
Hongyue Wang, Changyong Feng, Xinming Tu, Jeanne Kowalski
Within the family of zero-inflated Poisson distributions, the data has Poisson distribution if any only if the mean equals the variance. In this paper we compare two closely related test statistics constructed based on this idea. Our results show that althoug…
Baoying Chen
This paper proposes a method for constructing partial differential equation (PDE) systems with chaotic solitons by using truncated normal forms of an ordinary differential equation (ODE). The construction is based mainly on the fact that the existence of a so…

In this paper, we study the principle of equal probability ( i.e. , unless we have sufficient reason to regard one possible case as more probable than another, we treat them as equally probable) in measurement theory ( i.e. , the theory of quantum mechanical…
