The dynamic response of mechanical and civil structures subjected to high-amplitude vibration is often dangerous and undesirable. Sometimes controlled vibration is desirable as in the machinery used in the formation of rigid hard material as Ceramics and diam…

The main object of this paper is the mathematical study of the vibration behavior in ultrasonic machining (USM) described by non-linear differential equations. The ultrasonic machining (USM) consists of the tool holder and the absor-bers representing the tool…

In this paper, the characteristic function method is applied to seek traveling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations in a unified way. We consider the Wu-Zhang equation (which describes (1 + 1)-dimensional disper-sive long wave). The equa…

An exact solution has been obtained for the release kinetics of a solute from a cylindrical non-erodible polymeric matrix into a finite external volume when the initial solute loading is greater than the solubility limit in the matrix. The moving boundary sol…

Under study is the problem of optimum allocation of a resource. The following is proposed: the algorithm of dynamic programming in which on each step we only use the set of Pareto-optimal points, from which unpromising points are in addition excluded. For thi…

Inspired by the first lustrum of the Club Positioning Matrix (CPM) for professional Dutch soccer teams, we model the interaction between soccer teams and their potential fans as a cooperative cost game based on the annual voluntary sponsorships of fans in ord…

We prove that a trinucleotide circular code is self-complementary if and only if its two conjugated classes are complement of each other. Using only this proposition, we prove that if a circular code is self-complementary then either both its two conjugated c…

This study presents an estimation approach to non-life insurance claim counts relating to a specified time. The objective of this study is to estimate the parameters in non-life insurance claim counting process, including the homogeneous Poisson process (HPP)…

In this paper, we have considered an inhomogeneous beam with a damping distributed along the length of the beam. The beam is clamped at both ends and is assumed to vibrate longitudinally. We have estimated the total energy of the system at any time t. By cons…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
