We revisit the multi-allelic mutation-fitness balance problem especially when fitnesses are multiplicative. Using ideas arising from quasi-stationary distributions, we analyze the qualitative differences between the fitness-first and mutation-first models, un…

The present paper deals with the effect of linearly temperature on transverse vibration of non-homogeneous orthotropic trapezoidal plate of parabolically varying thickness. The deflection function is defined by the product of the equations of the prescribed c…

In this paper, we prove some generalizations of results concerning the Eneström-Kakeya theorem. The results obtained considerably improve the bounds by relaxing the hypothesis in some cases.

The solution of the real Ginzburg-Landau (GL) equation with a time-periodic coefficient is obtained in the form of a series, with assured convergence, using the computer-assisted ‘Homotopy Analysis Method’ (HAM) propounded by Liao [1]. The formulation has bee…

A second-order dual problem is formulated for a class of continuous programming problem in which both objective and constrained functions contain support functions, hence it is nondifferentiable. Under second-order invexity and second-order pseudoinvexity, we…

This paper deals with the initial boundary value problem for a class of nonlinear Kirchhoff-type equations with strong dissipative and source terms in a bounded domain, where and are constants. We obtain the global existence of solutions by constructing a sta…

Numerical methods often reduce solving a complicated problem to a set of elementary problems. In some previous papers, the author reduced the finding of solution boxes of a system of inequalities, the computation of integral value with error bound, the approx…

A mathematical algorithm of the distribution of greenhouse gas emissions is proposed as a way to tackle the topical issue of climate change and develop approaches to attaining an agreement among emitters of greenhouse gases (on the global scale, in a country,…

In this paper, we introduce the concept of – chainable intuitionistic fuzzy metric space akin to the notion of – chainable fuzzy metric space introduced by Cho, and Jung [1] and prove a common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings in this newly d…

In this paper we study the viscosity analysis of the spatially homogeneous Boltzmann equation for Maxwellian molecules. We first show that the global existence in time of the mild solution of the viscosity equation . We then study the asymptotic behaviour of…
