In this paper, we introduce a numerical treatment using generalized Euler method (GEM) for the non-linear programming problem which is governed by a system of fractional differential equations (FDEs). The appeared fractional derivatives in these equations are…

The purpose of this study is to find out the critical number of elements needed for group survival. Taking a probabilistic approach, how the lifetime of a group consisting of several elements depends on the number of elements and the probability distribution…
Issic K. C. Leung, K. Gopalsamy
The dynamics of a fractionalized semi-linear scalar differential equation is considered with a Caputo fractional derivative. By using a symbolic operational method, a fractional order initial value problem is converted into an equivalent Volterra integral equ…

In this paper, we establish the existence of at least four distinct solutions to an Kirchhoff type problems involving the critical Caffareli-Kohn-Niremberg exponent, concave term and sign-changing weights, by using the Nehari manifold and mountain pass theore…

In this paper, we analyze US stock market with a new 5-factor model in Zhou and Li (2016) [1]. Data we use are 48 industry portfolios (Jul. 1963-Jan. 2017). Parameters are estimated by MLE. LR and KS are used for model diagnostics. Model comparison is done wi…

Short Retraction Notice The following article has been retracted due to the authors’ strong personal reason about the indexing databases of Applied Mathematics. This article has been retracted to straighten the academic record. In making this decision the Edi…

For weighted sums of asymptotically almost negatively associated (AANA) random variables sequences, we use the Rosenthal type moment inequalities and prove the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type complete convergence and obtain the complete convergence rates. Our resu…

The present contribution arises with the intent of providing a brief, and therefore not exhaustive, theoretical accommodation of the problematics related to the programming and the achievement of an event. In reality, the aim of the paper is to develop optima…

This article proposes to assess the impact of the subprime mortgage crisis on the exchange rate channel in 6 countries of the Euro-Med zone. To do this, our analysis is based on three evaluation methods that allow us to conclude that the exchange rate channel…

In this paper, a practical analysis of stability by simulation for the effect of incorporating a Kalman estimator in the control loop of the inverted pendulum with a neurocontroller is presented. The neurocontroller is calculated by approximate optimal contro…
