Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema…

In this study, we establish an approximate method which produces an approximate Hermite polynomial solution to a system of fractional order differential equations with variable coefficients. At collocation points, this method converts the mentioned system int…

In this paper, we propose a numerical method based on semi-Lagrangian approach for solving quasi-geostrophic (QG) equations on a sphere. Using potential vorticity and stream-function as prognostic variables, two-order centered difference is suggested on the l…

In 2000, Wu and Gong [1] introduced the thought of the Henstock integrals of inter-valvalued functions and fuzzy-number-valued functions and obtained a number of their properties. The aim of this paper is to introduce the thought of the AP- Henstock integrals…

We consider the estimation of nonparametric regression models with predictors being measured with a mixture of Berkson and classical errors. In practice, the Berkson error arises when the variable X of interest is unobservable and only a proxy of X can be mea…

The improvements of high-throughput experimental devices such as microarray and mass spectrometry have allowed an effective acquisition of biological comprehensive data which include genome, transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome (multi-layered omics data).…

This work presents an application of the Simplex Method for solving an optimal planning problem for cancer treatment by radiotherapy. Linear Programming can aid the optimal planning for radiation therapy, where the concern is to apply a high enough radiation…
Petr Kloucek, Pavel Zakharov, Armin von Gunten
Applications of a constitutive framework providing compound complexity analysis and indexing of coarse-grained self-similar time series representing behavioural data are presented. A notion of behavioural entropy and hysteresis is introduced as two different…

A disease transmission model of SEIR type is discussed in a stochastic point of view. We start by formulating the SEIR epidemic model in form of a system of nonlinear differential equations and then change it to a system of nonlinear stochastic differential e…
Jakob Teichmann, Karl-Gerald van den Boogaart
The present paper introduces a new approach to simulate any stationary multivariate Gaussian random field whose cross-covariances are predefined continuous and integrable functions. Such a field is given by convolution of a vector of univariate random fields…

The superconvergence in the finite element method is a phenomenon in which the fi-nite element approximation converges to the exact solution at a rate higher than the optimal order error estimate. Wang proposed and analyzed superconvergence of the conforming…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
