The stiffness required for the normal operation of membrane roof comes from the application of pre-tension. When the pre-tension is too small, it is easy to cause instability under the action of wind load, which leads to excessive deformation of the roof and…

The solution of the Riemann Problem ( RP ) for the one-dimensional ( 1D ) non-linear Shallow Water Equations ( SWEs ) is known to produce four potential wave patterns for the scenario where the water depth is always positive. In this paper, we choose four tes…

We consider a generalized form of the porous medium equation where the porosity ϕ is a function of time t : ϕ = ϕ ( x , t ) : ∂ ( ϕ S ) ∂ t − ∇ ⋅ ( k ( S ) ∇ S ) = Q ( S ) . In many works, the porosity ϕ is either assumed to be independent of (or to depend ve…

This paper addresses tensile shock physics in thermoviscoelastic (TVE) solids without memory. The mathematical model is derived using conservation and balance laws (CBL) of classical continuum mechanics (CCM), incorporating the contravariant second Piola-Kirc…

Normalizable analytic solutions of the quantum rotor problem with divergent potential are presented here as solution of the Schrödinger equation. These solutions, unknown to the literature, represent a mathematical advance in the description of physical pheno…

Making exact approximations to solve equations distinguishes applied mathematicians from pure mathematicians, physicists, and engineers. Perturbation problems, both regular and singular, are pervasive in diverse fields of applied mathematics and engineering.…

This article addresses the issue of computing the constant required to implement a specific nonparametric subset selection procedure based on ranks of data arising in a statistical randomized block experimental design. A model of three populations and two blo…

Cornachia’s algorithm can be adapted to the case of the equation x 2 + d y 2 = n and even to the case of a x 2 + b x y + c y 2 = n . For the sake of completeness, we have given modalities without proofs (the proof in the case of the equation x 2 + y 2 = n ).…

In this article, we develop and analyze a continuous-time Markov chain (CTMC) model to study the resurgence of dengue. We also explore the large population asymptotic behavior of probabilistic model of dengue using the law of large numbers (LLN). Initially, w…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathema… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
