In this paper, we establish the existence of at least four distinct solutions to an elliptic problem with singular cylindrical potential, a concave term, and critical Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg exponent, by using the Nehari manifold and mountain pass theorem.

This paper presents a new algorithm for solving unit commitment (UC) problems using a binary-real coded genetic algorithm based on k -means clustering technique. UC is a NP-hard nonlinear mixed-integer optimization problem, encountered as one of the toughest…

In this paper, we analyze chaotic dynamics of nonlinear systems and study chaos synchronization of Lorenz system. We extend our study by discussing other methods available in literature. We propose a theorem followed by a lemma in general and another one for…

In this paper, we have modified fixed point method and have established two new iterative methods of order two and three. We have discussed their convergence analysis and comparison with some other existing iterative methods for solving nonlinear equations.

The optimization of discrete problems is largely encountered in engineering and information domains. Solving these problems with continuous-variables approach then convert the continuous variables to discrete ones does not guarantee the optimal global solutio…

The derivation of the harmonic approximation of the Hamiltonian of a model of coupled three-dimensional harmonic oscillator is presented. It is shown how the splitting of the total Hamiltonian into the intrinsic and collective Hamiltonians leads to the descri…

This paper proves the existence and uniqueness of a time-invariant measure for the 2D Navier-Stokes equations on the sphere under a random kick-force and a time-periodic deterministic force. Several examples of deterministic force satisfying the necessary con…

In this paper, we prove the existence of random attractors for a stochastic reaction-diffusion equation with distribution derivatives on unbounded domains. The nonlinearity is dissipative for large values of the state and the stochastic nature of the equation…

A delayed HI V/A IDS epidemic model with treatment and vertical transmission is investigated. The model allows some infected individuals to move from the symptomatic phase to the asymptomatic phase; next generation of infected individuals may be infected and…

Totally equistable, totally Φ 0 -equistable, practically equistable, and practically Φ 0 -equistable of system of differential equations are studied. Cone valued perturbing Liapunov functions method and comparison methods are used. Some results of these prope…
