In this work an algorithm to predict short times series with missing data by means energy associated of series using artificial neural networks (ANN) is presented. In order to give the prediction one step ahead, a comparison between this and previous work tha…

The paper deals with the estimation of parameters of multidimensional diffusion processes that are discretely observed. We construct estimator of the parameters based on the minimum Hellinger distance method. This method is based on the minimization of the He…

This paper presents discontinuous Legendre wavelet Galerkin (DLWG) approach for solving one-dimensional advection-diffusion equation (ADE). Variational formulation of this type equation and corresponding numerical fluxes are devised by utilizing the advantage…

Let be a strictly stationary sequence of ρ ?-mixing random variables. We proved the almost sure central limit theorem, containing the general weight sequences, for the partial sums , where , . The result generalizes and improves the previous results.

The effect of Pasternak foundation and non-homogenity on the axisymmetric vibrations of polar orthotropic parabolically varying tapered circular plates has been analyzed on the basis of classical plate theory. Ritz method has been used to find the numerical s…

The path of a light’s signal is one and the same in the universal space regardless of the inertial frame by which it is identified. However, only one frame can be taken stationary and identified with the universal space while all other frames are moving. The…

Imagine that hundreds of video streams, taken by mobile phones during a rock concert, are uploaded to a server. One attractive application of such prominent dataset is to allow a user to create his own video with a deliberately chosen but virtual camera traje…
