Abstract
We have shown that certain non-commutative integral rings can be immersed in a field by a method which is not that of the construction of the field of fractions on the right <math display='inline' xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML'> <mrow> <mi>ℝ</mi><msup> <mi>ℝ</mi> <mrow> <mo>∗</mo><mo>−</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow> </msup> </mrow> </math> , or left <math display='inline' xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML'> <mrow> <msup> <mi>ℝ</mi> <mrow> <mo>∗</mo><mo>−</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow> </msup> <mi>ℝ</mi></mrow> </math> , of the ring <math display='inline' xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML'> <mi>ℝ</mi> </math> under consideration.
