Let F be a number field and p be a prime. In the successive approximation theorem, we prove that, for each integer n ≥ 1, finitely many candidates for the Galois group of the n th stage of the p -class tower over F are determined by abelian type invariants of…

In this paper we revisit the addition of elliptic curves and give an algebraic proof to the associative law by use of MATHEMATICA. The existing proofs of the associative law are rather complicated and hard to understand for beginners. An ‘‘elementary” proof t…

The original online version of this article (Issa Allassane Kaboye, Bazanfaré Mahaman (2016) Manifolds with Bakry-Emery Ricci Curvature bounded below 6, 754-764 . http://dx.doi.org/ 10.4236/apm.2016.611061 unfortunately contains a mistake. The author wishes t…

In this paper, we investigate a subordination property and the coefficient inequality for the class M(1, b) , The lower bound is also provided for the real part of functions belonging to the class M(1, b) .

The strength of rock structures strongly depends inter alia on surface irregularities of rock joints. These irregularities are characterized by a coefficient of joint roughness. For its estimation, visual comparison is often used. This is rather a subjective…

With symmetries measured by the Lie group and curvatures revealed by differential geometry, the continuum stored energy function possesses a translational deformation component, a rotational deformation component, and an ellipsoidal volumetric deformation com…

In present paper, certain aspect of shock wave in non-ideal gas, when magnetic field is orthogonal to the trajectories of the gas particles and electrical conductivity is taken to be infinite, is investigated. Considering one-dimensional unsteady non-planer m…

After developing the mathematical means for the correspondence of classical phase-space function to quantum-mechanical operators with symmetrical ordering of the basic canonical operators in the sense of Weyl the approach is applied to an infinite series of c…

In this paper we establish the notion of the space of bounded ( p (⋅), 2) variation in De la Vallée Poussin-Wiener’s sense with variable exponent. We show some properties of this space and we show that any uniformly bounded composition operator that maps…

In this article we continue the consideration of geometrical constructions of regular n -gons for odd n by rhombic bicompasses and ruler used in [1] for the construction of the regular heptagon ( n =7). We discuss the possible factorization of the cyclotomic…
