Theoretical background and an implementation of the p -group generation algorithm by Newman and O’Brien are used to provide computational evidence of a new type of periodically repeating patterns in pruned descendant trees of finite p -groups.

We revise some mathematical morphological operators such as Dilation, Erosion, Opening and Closing. We show proofs of our theorems for the above operators when the structural elements are partitioned. Our results sho w that structural elements can be partitio…

The objective of this research paper is to study numerical relationships between a block of a finite group and a defect group of such block. We define a new notion which is called a strongly k(<i>D</i>) - block and give a necessary and sufficient condition of…

This paper mainly consists of the classification of all crystallographic point groups of n-dimen sional space with n ≤ 6 into different isomorphism classes. An isomorphism class is defined by a type of finite mathematic group; for instance, the different type…

Short Retraction Notice The paper does not meet the standards of "Advances in Pure Mathematics". This article has been retracted to straighten the academic record. In making this decision the Editorial Board follows COPE's Retraction Guidelines . The aim is t…

In this note, we discuss the definition of the S 1 -convexity Phenomenon. We first make use of some results we have attained for in the past, such as those contained in [1] , to refine the definition of the phenomenon. We then observe that easy counter-exampl…

In the paper, we will discuss the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili Equation which is used to model shallow-water waves with weakly non-linear restoring forces and is also used to model waves in ferromagnetic media by employing the method of variable separation. Abundan…

We call “asymptotic mean” (at +∞) of a real-valued function the number, supposed to exist, , and highlight its role in the geometric theory of asymptotic expansions in the real domain of type (*) where the comparison functions , forming an asymptotic scale at…

We shall show relation between two operator inequalities and for positive, invertible operators A and B , where f and g are non-negative continuous invertible functions on satisfying f(t)g(t)=t -1 .

The object of the present paper is to investigate various argument results of analytic and multivalent functions which are defined by using a certain fractional derivative operator. Some interesting applications are also considered.
