Abstract
Energy efficiency is a modern approach for using energy resources economically. Energy audit ensures that every unit of energy gives the maximum in terms of production. This paper brings out the advantages of using energy audit to save future installation of power generation capacity and load reduction of distribution systems. It also envisages the intro duction of energy conservation techniques to eliminate sub-standard equipment.
