International Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IJAA) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high quality original research in all the fields of astrophysics and space sciences and related technology. All the manuscripts must be prepared in English and are sub…

The origin of ultra high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) is still an open question in astroparticle physics. TeV blazars are a small group of active galactic nuclei (AGNs). They all have been observed in TeV gamma ray band, and show violent variabilities in flux…

The manner the galaxy accretes matter, along with the star formation rates at different epochs, influences the evolution of the stable isotopic inventories of the galaxy. A detailed analysis is presented here to study the dependence of the galactic chemical e…

We consider models for the observed ro-vibrational absorption lines of acetylene toward NGC 7538 IRS9. The data are fit with multiple screens, each having separate column densities, rotational and vibrational excitation temperatures, and filling factors. The…

We have determined the Optical Luminosity Function (OLF) of a sample of 80946 Quasi Stellar Objects (QSOs) taken from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release Seven (SDSS DR7) with redshift range 0.3 < z < 2.5 and absolute magnitude M i < -22.5. The Monte Ca…

The so-called “global polytropic model” is based on the assumption of hydrostatic equilibrium for the solar system, or for a planet’s system of statellites (like the Jovian system), described by the Lane-Emden differential equation. A polytropic sphere of pol…

In this paper we compute general-relativistic polytropic models simulating rigidly rotating, pulsating neutron stars. These relativistic compact objects, with a radius of ~10 km and mass between ~1.4 and 3.2 solar masses, are closely related to pulsars. We em…

The eclipsing binary system which is catalogued in MACHO as 47.2135.29 is analyzed in detail for orbital elements and absolute parameters based on the MACHO observations and the latest values for the distance modulus of LMC. The period of the system is found…

In this paper we present an overview of solar radio observations at 11.2 GHz on Mets?hovi Radio Observatory (MRO). The data were observed during the solar cycles 23 and 24 (2001-2013) both in solar maxima and minimum. In total, 180 solar radio bursts, with va…

A Bianchi type- V space time is considered with linear equation of state in the scalar tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Brans and Dicke. We use the assumption of constant deceleration parameter and power law relation between scalar field <i> ø<…

A new set of relative orbit elements (ROEs) is used to derive a new elliptical formation flying model in previous work. In-plane and out-of-plane relative motions can be completely decoupled, which benefits elliptical formation design. In order to study the e…

All the manuscripts must be prepared in English and are sub… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
