Several simultaneous observations are presented of Syzygy effects during two solar eclipses, performed with torsinds and Foucault pendulums. The experiments/measurements were of a simple nature, conducted in several of places in Romania and Ukraine. It is sho…

On March 1 and 5, 1982, experiments in television photography instrumented by the landers VENERA-13 and 14 returned panoramas of the Venus surface at the landing site. Over the past 31 years, no similar missions have been sent to Venus. In connection with the…

In this paper, the phenomena of Earth’s motion about its own axis, the ecliptic plane of the Earth ’s orbit around the Sun, the definitions of equinoxes, the precession of equinoxes, Earth’s wobble and other astronomical terminology are briefly described. Som…

This is an attempt to view the concept of quantization of Geometry in a very different way from the prevailing views on the subject. It is postulated that the quantum levels of geometry form a geometric progression (like a , ax , ax 2 , ax 3 , ax 4 , ···, ax…

This paper describes a particularly transparent derivation of the Hawking effect for massive particles in black holes. The calculations are performed with the help of Painlevé-Gullstrand’s coordinates which are associated with a radially free-falling observer…

In 2011, Chinese researcher Ni found the solution of the Oppenheimer-Volkoff problem for a stable configuration of stellar object with no internal source of energy. The Ni’s solution is the nonrotating hollow sphere having not only an outer, but an inner phys…

This paper presents methods of orbit transfer for small planetoids from the main belt to the future colonies on Mars using current technologies. The results show that by using nuclear weapon or even kinetic energy weapon (for retrograde bodies) asteroids with…

The present article studies the stability conditions of central control artificial equilibrium generalized restricted problem of three bodies. It is generalized in the sense that here we have taken the larger primary body to be in shape of an oblate spheroid.…

Data from a recently discovered long Gamma Ray Burst (GRB 090102) by NASA ’ s Swift satellite revealed that such GRBs may not be fireballs as usually presumed, but instead they are powered and collimated by organized strong magnetic fields ( ≧ 10 15 G ) gener…

In this paper we propose a class of non-stationary solutions of Einstein’s field equations describing an embedded Vaidya-de Sitter solution with a cosmological variable function Λ( u ). Vaidya-de Sitter solution is interpreted as the radiating Vaidya black ho…
