In the present study, an oscillatory model of the universe is proposed wherein the universe undergoes a sequence of big bang, expansion, contraction, big bang—repeated ad infinitum. The universe comprises of a “ World ” and an “ Anti world ” in both of which…

In this work, the mass resulting from self energy is obtained by utilizing the generalized relativity. The expression for the mass which results from the gravitational field is finite. This expression is found by considering the mass first as small tiny strin…

We present the results of our study of three previously unstudied short-period eclipsing binaries, namely: ASAS 110609 ﹣ 2045.3, ASAS105331 ﹣ 7424.7, and ASAS 130057 + 2120.3. Using the visual (V)-band data obtained from the ASAS catalogue, the orbital and ph…

The positions and linear stability of the equilibrium points of the Robe’s circular restricted three-body problem, are gen eralized to include the effect of mass variations of the primaries in accordance with the unified Meshcherskii law, when the motion of t…

Neutral isotopes and ions of H, He and Li define the chemistry of the early universe by collisional and radiative process, where under low temperature and radiation regime, only neutral species were essential in the cooling mass that gave origin to the first…

Several recently published Faraday rotation measures (RM) derived using the novel RM synthesis technique are likely in error. If a set of polarimetric observations contains a large gap in the wavelength coverage, the rotation measure de termination is sometim…

The introduction of an exponential or power law gradient in the interstellar medium (ISM) allows to produce an asym metric evolution of the supernova remnant (SNR) when the framework of the thin layer approximation is adopted. Un fortunately both the exponent…

Using the data of the 2 Degree Field (2dF) QSO Redshift Survey (2QZ) and the associated 6 Degree Field (6dF) QSO Redshift Survey (6QZ) of the Anglo-Australian Telescope, a study of the Optical Luminosity Function of Quasi Stellar Objects (QSOs) has been made…

Planetary Nebulae (PN) distances represent the fundamental parameter for the determination the physical properties of the central star of PN. In this paper the distances scale to Planetary Nebulae in the Galactic bulge were calculated re lated to previous dis…

It is possible, the question on the existence of extraterrestrial life will be answered not as a result of its search for in other worlds removed by distances of dozens of parsecs but on the surface of Venus, i.e ., of the nearest planet of the Solar system.…
