The impact of large-scale grid-connected wind farms of Doubly-fed Induction Generator (DFIG) type on power system transient stability is elaborately discussed in this paper. In accordance with an equivalent generator/converter model, the comprehensive numeric…
Morris Brenna, Ettore De Berardinis, Federica Foiadelli, Gianluca Sapienza, Dario Zaninelli
Due to the development of Distributed Generation (DG), which is installed in Medium-Voltage Distribution Networks (MVDNs) such as generators based on renewable energy (e.g., wind energy or solar energy), voltage control is currently a very important issue. Th…
Filip Nauwelaerts, Dirk Van Troyen, Guy A. E. Vandenbosch
This paper summarizes a theoretical design analysis for the implementation of an electromagnetic modeling tool, focusing on the simulation of electromagnetic field propagation inside reverberation chambers. The simulation algorithms which have been developed…
Arbab I. Arbab, Faisal A. Yassein
A new formulation of electromagnetism based on linear differential commutator brackets is developed. Maxwell equations are derived, using these commutator brackets, from the vector potential, the scalar potential φ and the Lorentz gauge connecting them. With…

This paper discusses the uncertainty of ozone differential absorption lidar (DIAL) measurements due to the impact of background signal. The impact of background signal on ozone concentration profiles is proportional to the background intensity and the ratio o…
Abhilasha Mishra, Ganesh B. Janvale, Bhausaheb Vyankatrao Pawar, Pradeep Mitharam Patil
The paper presents the Quasi Newton model of Artificial Neural Network for design of circular microstrip antenna (MSA). In this model, a closed form expression is used for accurate determination of the resonant frequency of circular microstrip patch antenna.…
Sergey Katenev Katenev, He Shi
H0i-eigenwave characteristics of a periodic iris-loaded circular waveguide (PICW) are examined, as concerns the ei-genmode behavior vs arbitrary variations of the geometric parameters and the Bragg bandwidths vs the parameter of filling extremums.
Kharis Y. Mulyukov, Irek I. Musabirov
Results of investigation of the temperature dependence of magnetization of Ni2.08Mn0.96Ga0.96 alloy in the magnetic fields of various intensities are reported. An abrupt change in magnetization at transformation of low temperature phase to the high temperatur…

The aperture phase taper due to quadratic phase errors in the principal planes of a rectangular horn imposes signifi-cant constraints on the on-axis far-field gain of the horn. The precise calculation of gain reduction involves Fresnel integrals; therefore, e…
Guihua Mei, Yuanzhang Sun, Yancun Liu
This paper focus on the Modeling and Calculation of DC current distribution in AC power grid induced under HVDC Ground-Return-Mode. Applying complex image method and boundary element method, a new field-circuit coupling model was set up. Based on the calculat…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
