Abstract
This study aims to investigate the key factors influencing on job satisfaction and analyze their impact on employee productivity within the production sector in Saudi Arabia. Given the strategic importance of the production industry in achieving the goals of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, understanding the dynamics between employee satisfaction and productivity is essential for organizational success. The research adopts a quantitative, analytical approach, using a structured questionnaire distributed among employees working in selected production companies across Saudi Arabia. The study explores various dimensions of job satisfaction, including compensation, work environment, leadership style and career development, and examines how these variables affect overall employee performance. Job satisfaction is also examined as a mediating variable between organizational factors and employee’s productivity. While the work environment was found to be the most influential organizational factor affecting job satisfaction, the regression analysis confirmed that job satisfaction itself is the most powerful predictor of employee productivity. The findings show a significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee productivity, with certain factors (such as fair compensation and benefits, A supportive, safe, and inclusive work environment, supportive leadership and opportunities for career development) playing a more prominent role. The results will provide actionable recommendations for human resource managers and policymakers to improve working conditions and enhance workforce performance in the production sector. However, while the work environment emerged as the most significant organizational factor affecting job satisfaction, the regression analysis revealed that job satisfaction itself was the strongest overall predictor of employee productivity.
