Electrostatic Rayleigh-Taylor (ERT) mode/instability is studied in a non-uni-form quantum magnetoplasma, whose constituents are electrons and positrons with fraction of ions. The effects of quantum corrections ( i.e. Bohm potential and temperature degeneracy)…

This work briefly reviews and extends the author’s three previous works (2015), Journal of Modern Physics , 6, 78-87, and 1360-1370; (2016), 7, 1829-1844 that propose as an alternative to the accelerating ΛCDM universe, the decelerating Einstein de Sitter (Ed…

The Wigner-Seitz unit cell (rhombus) for a honeycomb lattice fails to establish a k -vector in the 2D space, which is required for the Bloch electron dynamics. Phonon motion cannot be discussed in the triangular coordinates, either. In this paper, we propose…

Monte Carlo simulation of two dimensional 4 state Potts model has been carried out in microcanonical ensemble. The simulations were done on a 30 × 30 system with periodic boundary conditions. The temperature dependence of energy and order parameter has been c…

The standard model of cosmology is considered critically. A model with pressure is proposed which is linearly expanding and which is an exact solution of Einstein’s field equations. The recession velocity of the galaxies of this model never exceeds the speed…

The most complicated problems to solve in science are multidisciplinary problems, which include the problem of explaining of physical reality and physical essenceofimaginary numbers discovered more than five hundred years ago. However, the authors of the spec…

We report results from several ab-initio computations of electronic, transport and bulk properties of zinc-blende beryllium selenide ( zb -BeSe). Our nonrelativistic calculations utilized a local density approximation (LDA) potential and the linear combinatio…

The present paper is an attempt to bridge the gulf between economics and econophysics. That is, constructing a chaos-based theoretical model, we show the behavior of the goal-driven agents exhibits the behavior of the purpose-free agents. Main conclusion is:…

We report accurate, calculated electronic, transport, and bulk properties of zinc blende gallium arsenide (GaAs). Our ab-initio, non-relativistic, self-con-sistent calculations employed a local density approximation (LDA) potential and the linear combination…

Recently, semiconductor quantum dot (QD) sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) are expected to achieve higher conversion efficiency because of the large light absorption coefficient and multiple exciton generation in QDs. The morphology of TiO 2 electrode is one of…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
