The deduction of a constant of motion, a Lagrangian, and a Hamiltonian for relativistic particle moving in a dissipative medium characterized by a force which depends on the square of the velocity of the particle is done. It is shown that while the trajectori…

Large Hadron Collider (LHC) had produced a vast amount of high precision data for high energy heavy ion collision. We attempt here to study i) transverse momenta spectra, ii) K / π , P / π ratio behaviours, iii) rapidity distribution, and iv) the nuclear modi…

Fermion mass is modeled as an analogue of Weyl curvature, which by hypothesis emerges when closed, spin-2 strings sweep out closed world tubes. Second order curvature classes result when closed world tubes circulate and themselves sweep out closed tubes etc.…

The paper introduces Planck scale into the Newtonian law of gravity for the model simplification. The terms of Newtonian gravitational force can be separated into two parts, namely Dark Matter and Dark Energy respectively. They are inverse relation to the dis…

Based on non-equilibrium Green’s function method combined with the density functional theory, we have studied the electronic properties of a graphene nanoribbon (GNR) which is composed of two GNRs with different widths. The results show that the electron tran…

The separate effects that an electric and a magnetic field would have on the total energy and spin of an elementary electron state have been computed in a theoretical quantum field theory framework. It is shown that all the effects in this process, that are d…

A possible alternative to the accelerating universe is proposed, which shows that the diminished brightness of the high red shift Type Ia supernovae can be explained by assuming light travels with reduced speed through the dark energy of intergalactic space.…

Various compositions of the system Ba x Sr 1-x TiO 3 (BST) have been elaborated both as fine powders and ceramic monoliths, using the co -precipitation route within a warmed supersaturated solution of oxalic acid. The appropriate stoichiometry was determined…

A set, S , of constitutive elements characterizing mechanical theories is defined. In S , the role played by concepts such as mass, particle, fields and symmetry is discussed. This structure is first used to consider the Nother’s theorem from an algebraic poi…

The influence of a glow electrical discharge on the wake behind two cylinders was studied. This effect consists in a redistribution of the power in the velocity pulsation spectrum due to the discharge action on fluid flow. To treat this observation, we need a…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
