Many industries in the world take part in the pollution of the environment. This pollution often comes from the reactions of combustion. To optimize these reactions and to minimize pollution, turbulence is a funda- mental tool. Several factors are at the orig…

Based on the analysis of the total free energy of the liquid-bridge, several methods are presented to analyze the pull-off force of liquid-bridge. For the liquid bridge system with a large gap width, accurate solutions of a two-plates liquid bridge and a sphe…

Two and a half thousand years ago the ancient atomists made a suggestion that space has a cellular structure, is material and consists of elementary cells. In 1900 Plank found the elementary length L*=10-33 cm. This notion has been widely used in modern physi…

This study is devoted to unbiased motion of a point Brownian particle that escapes from a spherical cavity through a round hole. Effective one-dimensional description in terms of the generalized Fick-Jacobs equation is used to derive a formula which gives the…

Using Weierstrassian elliptic functions the exact geodesics in the Schwarzschild metric are expressed in a simple and most transparent form. The results are useful for analytical and numerical applications. For example we calculate the perihelion precession a…

We present the findings of spin-dependent single-hole and pair-hole transport in plane and across the p-type high mobility silicon quantum wells (Si-QW), 2 nm, confined by the superconductor δ-barriers on the n-type Si (100) surface. The oscillations of the c…

In this study, the optical transmittance of aligned nematic liquid crystals (ANLCs) was investigated in terms of temperature variations through electrooptic effects under DC electric field. The optical transmittances of the planar and homeotropically aligned…

Three analytic algorithms based on Adomian decomposition, homotopy perturbation and homotopy analysis methods are proposed to solve some models of nonlinear age-structured population dynamics and epidemiology. Truncating the resulting convergent infinite seri…

Schrodinger-Langevin equation has been constructed for the ion-transport for K-ion channel. The stability of the solutions of this equation has been discussed under various physical situations. This will shed new light on the ion transport at nano-scale as we…

Long wavelength GaSb-based quantum well lasers have been optimized for high coupling efficiency into an optical system. Two approaches were used to reduce the vertical far-field. In the first approach we showed the use of V-shaped Weaker Waveguide in the n-cl…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
