In this paper, we consider the intensive erosion of tungsten brush-type armour structures that face the plasma in divertor fusion reactors. Surface erosion caused by multiple transient events (ELMs, disruption, etc.) could lead to the formation of a corrugate…

In this paper, we propose a novel structure of quantum waveguide. In this structure we tailored the quantum wire by Gaussian Profile. Thus, the Dirac-Delta function potentials are weighted according to Gaussian distribution function. We studied the electronic…

We report on the current-voltage (I-V) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics of the Pd/Ti/n-InP Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs) in the temperature range 160-400 K in steps of 40 K. The barrier heights and ideality factors of Schottky contact are found…

In the paper, the enhanced measurements of the laser micro-jet processing are discussed. In fact, within pure water breakdown threshold of laser, the less focal which focused with the appropriate focusing lens and the small nozzle of water chamber enhance the…

A task of mapping a hexagonal grid to different types of helical surfaces including nanocones, nanotubes and nanoscrolls by unfolding a given surface to a carbon layer plane has been solved. Basing on these models, polyhedric models with all atomic bonds bein…

Production of tachyons in, among other things, air showers would be in accordance with predictions of general relativity. Some such tachyons would travel with a precisely determined speed, almost equal to 5c/3 relative to the earth, and would be registered hi…

The modification of the properties of nucleon in nuclear medium has been investigated in the context of flux tube model. A nucleon has been described as diquark-quark system connected by flux tube and quasi particle diquark model has been used to describe the…
Sherif M. Khalil, Mizna M. Al-Enazi
The interaction of a relativistic electron beam (REB) with inhomogeneous, magneto-active, relativistic warm plasma is theoretically investigated. The nonlinear formation of waves at second and triple frequency at the inlet of the beam into the plasma is inves…
Nadejda B. Matsko, Julian Wagner, Anton Efimov, Ines Haynl, Stefan Mitsche, Wolfgang Czapek, Boris Matsko, Werner Grogger, Ferdinand Hofer
Self-sensing and –actuating probes optimized for conventional tapping mode atomic force microscopy (AFM) are described. 32-kHz quartz tuning forks with a chemically etched and focus ion beam (FIB) sharpened (curvature radii are 5-10 nm) tungsten tip are stabl…
Rama Subba Reddy Gorla, Ali Chamkha
A boundary layer analysis is presented for the natural convection past a horizontal plate in a porous medium saturated with a nano fluid. Numerical results for friction factor, surface heat transfer rate and mass transfer rate have been presented for parametr…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
