Einstein claimed Bohr’s theory is incomplete: “the wave function does not provide a complete description of the physical reality” [1] . Their views represent two physics in schism [2] [3] . Quanta are fundamental. The theory of diffraction in quasicrystals, t…

We discuss in this paper a novel interpretation of Born rule as an approximated thermodynamic law which emerges from the interaction of a quantum system with a non-stationary thermal bath associated to vacuum fluctuations induced by external environment radia…

In this paper, the modifications of the whistler dispersion characteristics are investigated which arise if resonant electrons are taken into account. The following chain of processes is emphasized: Generation of whistler waves propagating at different angles…

O. A. Teplov developed an approach to describe the meson quark model by establishing a mathematical quark series (harmonic quark series). With respect to the physical mesons, he made some basic hypotheses of his own and used the well-known theory of harmonic…

The principles of special relativity and Einstein’s simple derivation of the Lorentz transformation are reviewed. A new simple derivation of the Lorentz transformation is developed in this paper, by a new approach of light-pulse observation or time-dilation o…

The purpose of the study was to investigate if the high gradient strength and slew rate used for long MRI-thermometry monitoring could cause DNA double-stranded breaks (DSBs). To this end, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to quantify &gam…

The Lorentz force equation F = q ( E + v × B ), which has been used by the engineering community since the early 20th century to control the motion of electrons on free trajectories, in a wide range of technical applications, is a generalized equation that wa…

Anderson localization has been realized in several different systems over the years. In this paper we describe a rather unique manifestation of the phenomenon occurring in a two-phase glass composition that guides light. The glasses are a borate or alkali bor…

Proton knockout reactions are a widely used tool to study nuclear ground-state distributions. While the interpretation of traditional experiments in direct kinematics has to account for initial and final state interactions, experiments in inverse kinematics c…

If Michelson were to answer the question posed in the title, given the line of reasoning he used in 1881, Michelson would seat at his desktop computer to calculate the expected fringeshifts for several solar speeds around 400 km/s and various directions of mo…

Journal of Modern Physics is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in modern physics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of modern physics. All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
