The field of Quantum Information Science is the most challenging and hot topic among all branches of science. This field is also quite interdisciplinary in character, and people from quantum theory, computer science, mathematics, information theory, condensed matter physics, many-body physics and many more have been a…

In this paper, classical and continuous variable (CV) quantum neural network hybrid multi-classifiers are presented using the MNIST dataset. Currently available classifiers can classify only up to two classes. The proposed architecture allows networks to clas…

A thought-experiment is described and the probability of a particular type of results is predicted according to the quantum formalism. Then, the assumption is made that there exists a particle that travels from the source to one of the detectors, along a cont…

Self-learning is one of the most important scientific methods that helps develop sciences, as it derives from the desire and interests of the individual. However, self-learning loses importance if it does not follow the scientific methodology for building and…

In this work, we applied the invariant method to calculate the coherent state of the harmonic oscillator with position-dependent mass, which in modern physics has great application. We also obtain the calculation of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, and we…

The Extended Wigner’s Friend thought experiment, comprising a quantum system containing an agent who draws conclusions upon observing the outcome of a measurement of a quantum state prepared in two nonorthogonal versions by another agent, led its authors to c…

Bell-state experiments with pairs of polarization-entangled photons are interpreted without any hinge on non-local mechanisms. The presented model rests on a careful analysis of published experimental findings. These foundations are implemented into a standar…

When a quantum system is described by a superposition of wave-packets, each wave-packet traveling on a separate path, a commonly asked question is why only one of the wave-packets is able to trigger a click in a detector. In the second half of the last centur…

Quantum computing has already become a technology to be used by large companies in finance, distribution, health care, chemistry, etc. Among the different approaches, quantum annealing is one of the most promising in the short term. However, software developm…

What is the quantum system? Consider the wave-function of the electron—what we call “single particle wave-function”—and assume that it contains N wave-packets. If we pass all the wave-packets through an electric field, all are deflected, as if each one of the…

In introduction we presented a short historical survey of the discovery of superconductivity (SC) up to the Fe-based materials that are not superconducting in a pure state. For this type of material, the transition to SC state occurs in presence of different…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
