Mohammad Alfraheed, Abdullah O. Al-Zaghameem
Space robotics are the development of general purpose machines that is capable of surviving (for a time, at least) in the rigors of the space environment, and performing exploration, assembly, construction, maintenance, servicing. Space Robots can perform tas…
Guanlei Xu, Xiaotong Wang, Xiaogang Xu, Lijia Zhou, Limin Shao
In this paper, a new signal separation method mainly for AM-FM components blended in noises is revisited based on the new derived time-varying bandpass filter (TVBF), which can separate the AM-FM components whose frequencies have overlapped reg ions in Fourie…
Hongwei Xie, Faqiang Zhang, Jianhua Zhang, Zeping Xu, Linbo Li
An image super resolution reconstruction method was used to improve the spatial resolution of the thick pinhole imag ing system and to mitigate the limitations of the image spatial resolution of the hardware of the image diagnostic system. The thick pinhole i…
Huiping Zhu, Bin Wu, Peng Ren
This paper describes a method to decompose multi-scale information from different source medical image using wave let transformation. The data fusion between CT image and MRI image is implemented based on the coefficients fusion rule which included choice of…
Juuso T. Olkkonen, Simo Ahtiainen, Kari Jarvinen, Hannu Olkkonen
This work describes a novel adaptive matrix/vector gradient (AMVG) algorithm for design of IIR filters and ARMA signal models. The AMVG algorithm can track to IIR filters and ARMA systems having poles also outside the unit cir cle. The time reversed filtering…
Navneet Upadhyay, Abhijit Karmakar
T his paper proposes a multi-band speech enhancement algorithm exploiting iterative processing for enhancement of single channel speech. In the proposed algorithm, the output of the multi-band spectral subtraction (MBSS) algorithm is used as the input signal…
Xiangying Lu, Bin Gao, Li Chin Khor, Wai Lok Woo, Satnam Dlay, Wingkuen Ling, Cheng S. Chin
We present a novel approach to solve the problem of single channel source separation (SCSS) based on filterbank tech nique and sparse non-negative matrix two dimensional deconvolution (SNMF2D). The proposed approach does not require training information of th…

A modal identification algorithm is developed, combining techniques from Second Order Blind Source Separation (SOBSS) and State Space Realization (SSR) theory. In this hybrid algorithm, a set of correlation matrices is generated using time-shifted, analytic d…
Mihai Dima, Marian Petre
The (seldomly quoted) generalised-Heisenberg uncertainty relations are an effect of the quantum correlation coefficient inequalities. The quantum correlation coefficient determines how much a state can be compacted and on what basis. It is shown that how this…
Gutenbert Kenfack, Alain Tiedeu
In many domains of science and technology, as the need for secured transmission of information has grown over the years, a variety of methods have been studied and devised to achieve this goal. In this paper, we present an information securing method using ch…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
