JSIP is an international refereed journal dedicated to the latest advancements in signal and information processing. The goal of this journal is to keep a record of the state-of-the-art research and promote the research work in the areas. This journal invites original research and review papers that address the follow…
K. Seetharaman, V. Rekha
T his paper proposes a Full Range Gaussian Markov Random Field (FRGMRF) model for monochrome image compression, where images are assumed to be Gaussian Markov Random Field. The parameters of the model are estimated based on Bayesian approach. The advantage of…

The Healthcare monitoring on a clinical base involves many implicit communication between the patient and the care takers. Any misinterpretation leads to adverse effects. A simple wearable system can precisely interpret the implicit communication to the care…
Ashraf Mohmoud El Sherbini, Abdel Aziz Saad Al Aamer
A Software program has been developed in order to perform a fast and reliable calculation to plasma electron density in laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) experiments. This program is based on analyzing the emitted spectral line shape via utilizing f…

The classical linear filter is able to extract components from multi-component stochastic processes where the frequencies of components do not overlap over time, but fail for those processes where the frequencies overlap over time. In this paper, we discuss t…

Analysis of functional MRI (fMRI) blood oxygenation level dependent (BOLD) data is typically carried out in the time domain where the data has a high temporal correlation. These analyses usually employ parametric models of the hemodynamic response function (H…

Nonlinear PAPR reducers, such as clipping and companding techniques, are some simple methods used to reduce the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR). In this paper, assuming that the baseband OFDM signal is characterized as a band-limited complex Gaussian proce…

Union resolution performance of FM (frequency modulation) parameter based on Radon-Wigner transform (RWT) for multi-component LFM (linear frequency modulation) signals is studied. Firstly, the RWT output expression is offered, and the independent resolution p…

The work presented in this paper concerns with analysis and synthesis of the two-dimensional Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters based on model order reduction. The synthesis is performed with two methods, the Prony's method (Prony modified) and Iterative…

This paper describes a new method to generate discrete signals with arbitrary power spectral density (PSD) and first order probability density function (PDF) without any limitation on PDFs and PSDs. The first approximation has been achieved by using a nonline…

A digital-controlled measuring instrument for hearing, which is mainly composed of STC11F16EX, AD9833, ISD400416MS and LM1972, is introduced in this paper. It may output highly accurate and purified sine signal whose frequency and amplitude are controlled by…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
