Additionally, it explores the impact of these characteristics on employee engagement, productivity, and overall organizational performance. The findings highlight the significance of managers who possess a combination of technical expertise and effective leadership skills, such as transformational or participative leadership styles. Moreover, the review emphasizes the importance of strong communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. The implications of these findings suggest that organizations should prioritize the recruitment, development, and training of managers with these ideal characteristics to enhance manufacturing operations and achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Further research avenues are suggested to explore the contextual factors that may influence the relevance and effectiveness of these ideal managerial characteristics in different manufacturing settings.
