Sliding wear tests of chilled cast iron tappet-disc and cam-ball tribo-partners were conducted by using ball on disc testing device. Magnetron sputtering CrTiAlN hard coating and Graphite like carbon (GLC) solid lubricant coatings were applied on either one o…
Wiranphat Thodsaratpreeyakul, Putinun Uawongsuwan, Takanori Negoro
In this research, recycled-polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polycarbonate (RPET/PC) blends fabricated by vented barrel injection molding were presented to better understand the effect of devolatilization during molding process. The effect of dried pellets…
Christopher Betzin, Holger Wolfschmidt
In this paper, commercial lithium ion battery cells consisting of graphite based anode and LiNi 0.80 Co 0.15 Al 0.05 O 2 (NCA) oxide based cathode were investigated regarding their aging behavior. The capacity loss is dependent on the state of charge (SOC) wh…
Rakibul Qadir, Fahmida Gulshan
Waste laptop batteries (Type-Lithium ion) have been collected and manually dismantled in the current work. Active electrode materials were scraped off from the copper current collector and polyethylene separators. The aluminum current collectors were found to…
Nnaemeka Chinedu Ngobiri, Kaine Okorosaye-Orubite
Corrosion inhibition characteristics of two biomass derived extracts from outer leaves of Brassica oleracea (BO) and Citrus paradise mesocarps (CPM) on pipeline steel were investigated using modified gravimetric method at ambient temperature (28 ± °C). Petrol…
