Journal of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering (MSCE) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancement of materials science and chemical engineering. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new iss…
Xiangjiang Xiao, Jinfu Wang, Decong Li, Kunyong Kang, Hanming Zhu
This study evaluated the electronic and optical properties of the Al- and F-doped ZnO by the first-principles study based on the density functional theory. The results show that the Al-3s, Al-3p, and F-2p orbitals introduce new impurity states near the Fermi…

This study uses TCAD numerical simulation to evaluate how key absorber parameters in Cu(In, Ga)Se 2 (CIGS) thin-film solar cells influence device performance, with the objective of identifying low-material, cost-effective optimization strategies. While crysta…
Pengfei Sun, Dengzhi Wang
Based on the experimental results, this study demonstrates that increasing the laser scanning speed effectively refines the microstructure of the fabricated samples, resulting in finer needle-like martensite and reduced carbide size. Although the average surf…
Li Liu, Ning Liu, Zengbin Wang, Zhengang Zhang, Liqiang Dai, Kaixuan Lang, 1 1
As one of the important research methods for nanomaterial analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) uses high-energy electron penetration of the sample to achieve high-resolution imaging and intuitively analyze surface morphology, atomic-level lattice…
Viorel Mînzu, Iulian Arama
This paper introduces a method to develop a common model based on machine learning (ML) that predicts the mechanical behavior of a family with three composite materials. The latter are structures composed of the same carbon fiber and different matrices. The d…
Awad H. AlMalki, Sarah A. Fadhlalmawla
Hygroscopic compounds are considered to be an analytical challenge in the field of materials characterization using X-ray diffraction (XRD). These compounds absorb moisture from the environment, leading to changes in crystallinity, peak broadening, and in sev…

The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new iss… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
Declare all funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals (including informed consent and animal-care statements where applicable).
