For each pair of positive integers <i>n</i> and <i>k</i>, let G(n,k) denote the digraph whose set of vertices is <i>H</i> = {0,1,2,···, <i>n</i> – 1} and there is a directed edge from <i>a</i> ∈ <i>H</i> to <i>b</i> ∈ <i>H</i> if <i>a</i> ≡ <i>b</i>(mod n). T…

Recently we interpreted five q-series identities of Rogers combinatorially by using partitions with “<i>n</i> +<i>t</i> cop-ies of <i>n</i>” of Agarwal and Andrews (J. Combin. Theory Ser.A, 45(1987), No.1, 40-49). In this paper we use lattice paths of Agarwal…

A graph <i>G</i>=(<i>V,E</i>) is representable if there exists a word <i>W</i> over the alphabet <i>V</i> such that letters <i>x</i> and <i>y</i> alternate in <i>W</i> if and only if (<i>x</i> ,<i>y</i>) is in <i>E</i> for each <i>x</i> not equal to <i>y</i>…

This paper provides a detailed outline of a mathematical research exploration for use in an introductory high school or college Calculus class and is directed toward teachers of such courses. The discovery is accomplished by introducing a novel method to gene…

Here presented is constructive generalization of exponential Euler polynomial and exponential splines based on the interrelationship between the set of concepts of Eulerian polynomials, Eulerian numbers, and Eulerian fractions and the set of concepts related…

The aim of the present paper is to state an asymptotic property Ρ of Shannon’s sampling theorem type, based on normalized cardinal sines, and keeping constant the sampling frequency of a not necessarilly band- limited signal. It generalizes in the limit t…

In this paper, we discuss about the b-colouring and b-chromatic number for middle graph of Cycle, Path, Fan graph and Wheel graph denoted as <i>M</i>[<i>Cn</i>],<i>M</i>[<i>Pn</i>],<i>M</i>[<i>F1,n</i>] and <i>M</i>[<i>Wn…

In this paper, the random Euler and random Runge-Kutta of the second order methods are used in solving random differential initial value problems of first order. The conditions of the mean square convergence of the numerical solutions are studied. The statist…

We introduce a general framework for the log-time sampling of continuous-time signals. We define the zeta transform based on the log-time sampling scheme, where the signal <i>x</i>(<i>t</i>)is sampled at time instants <i>tn</i>=<i>T</i>log<i>n</i>,…

A graph that consists of t cliques sharing a vertex v is said to be a t-friendship graph with center v. A friendship graph is a graph that is t-friendship for some . We solve the problem of finding the best upper bound for the size of a greedy 2-friendship de…
