On the Construction of Provincial Language Museums in Chinese Mainland

Abstract
Building a language museum is the common aspiration of more and more people of insight. A comprehensive survey of language museums at home and abroad shows that language museums have both general museum attributes and characteristics. At present, there are not many theoretical discussions on the construction of provincial entity language museums in China. The construction of a provincial language museum is of great significance in many aspects. The provincial language and culture museum should have its own characteristics and level, and should be well planned. It should not only be comprehensive, but also balance the display relationship of various elements. The construction of the provincial language museum needs the strong support and joint efforts of the government, academia, and civil society.
