Recent investigations have shown that a bivariant lognormal probability density function predicts the statistical moments and correlations of adult human height and weight so extensively and closely as to pose an enigma regarding the underlying reason for suc…

In practice, when dealing with censored data, survival analysis must be employed. In this case, parametric and non-parametric models are appropriate to analyze survival data to obtain optimal estimates of the parameters of interest. To identify significant de…

Attrition is a common challenge in statistical analysis for longitudinal or multi-stage cross-sectional studies. While strategies to reduce attrition should ideally be implemented during the study design phase, they remain common in real-world research, neces…

Accurate estimation of disease prevalence is crucial for effective public health intervention and resource allocation. Generating data by individual testing methods is often impractical and expensive for large populations, particularly when disease prevalence…

In addition to non-normality, censoring is one of the characteristics of survival data. All traditional procedures and models take into consideration this censoring characteristic in relation to survival data analysis. However, no studies have been done on th…

We introduce the Kernel-based Partial Conditional Mean Dependence, a scalar-valued measure of conditional mean dependence of Y given X , while adjusting for the nonlinear dependence on Z . Here X , Y and Z are random elements from arbitrary separable Hilbert…

Food insecurity is a global issue, and households in a society can experience food insecurity at different levels that could range from being mildly food insecure to severely food insecure. The severity of food insecurity is an ordinal categorical variable in…

There is a set of points in the plane whose elements correspond to the observations that are used to generate a simple least-squares regression line. Each value of the independent variable in the observations matches up with one of these points, which are cal…

The Shifted Exponential Distribution is widely used in engineering and industrial applications. Goodness-of-fit procedures are revisited. Shapiro-Wilk test, Shapiro-Francia test, Likelihood-ratio Anderson-Darling test, and Likelihood-ratio Kolmogorov-Smirnov…

Current high-dimensional feature screening methods still face significant challenges in handling mixed linear and nonlinear relationships, controlling redundant information, and improving model robustness. In this study, we propose a Dynamic Conditional Featu…

All… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
