Individual behaviors, such as drinking, smoking, screen time, and physical activity, can be strongly influenced by the behavior of friends. At the same time, the choice of friends can be influenced by shared behavioral preferences. The actor-based stochastic…

The aim of this paper is to propose some diagnostic methods in stochastic restricted linear regression models. A review of stochastic restricted linear regression models is given. For the model, this paper studies the method and application of the diagnostic…

In this paper, a varying-coefficient density-ratio model for case-control studies is developed. We investigate the local empirical likelihood diagnosis of varying coefficient density-ratio model for case-control data. The local empirical log-likelihood ratios…

The Goel-Okumoto software reliability model is one of the earliest attempts to use a non-homogeneous Poisson process to model failure times observed during software test interval. The model is known as exponential NHPP model as it describes exponential softwa…

The paper contains a summary of some results of original research total aggregates. The main idea is determining the boundaries of the groups for classification of fuzzy and threshold aggregates using the method of decomposing a mixture of probability distrib…

It is well known that the number of people with Tuberculosis (TB) and those who develop multidrug resistance (MDR) are the fundamental components that affect the total cost of treatment of TB. This paper has two-fold objectives. Firstly, we use the Generalize…

Experimental studies are usually designed with specific expectations about the results in mind. However, most researchers apply some form of omnibus test to test for any differences, with follow up tests like pairwise comparisons or simple effects analyses fo…

There has been a considerable recent attention in modeling over dispersed binomial data occurring in toxicology, biology, clinical medicine, epidemiology and other similar fields using a class of Binomial mixture distribution such as Beta Binomial distributio…

We show that most of the empirical or semi-empirical isotherms proposed to extend the Langmuir formula to sorption (adsorption, chimisorption and biosorption) on heterogeneous surfaces in the gaseous and liquid phase belong to the family and subfamily of the…

Statistical downscaling (SD) analyzes relationship between local-scale response and global-scale predictors. The SD model can be used to forecast rainfall (local-scale) using global-scale precipitation from global circulation model output (GCM). The objective…
