This paper proposes some exponential ratio type estimators of population mean under the situations when cer tain observations for some sampling units are missing. These missing observations may be for either auxiliary variable or study variable. The biases an…

Six categories of systematic 2 n -( n - k ) designs derivable from the full 2 k factorial experiment by the interactions-main effects assignment are available for carrying out 2 n -( n - k ) factorial experiments sequentially run after the other such that mai…

This paper presents a new class of test procedures for two - sample location problem based on subsample quan tiles. The class includes Mann-Whitney test as a special case. The asymptotic normality of the class of tests pro posed is established. The asymptotic…

High-dimensional longitudinal data arise frequently in biomedical and genomic research. It is important to select relevant covariates when the dimension of the parameters diverges as the sam ple size increases. We consider the problem of variable selection in…

The use of [1] Box-Cox power transformation in regression analysis is now common; in the last two decades there has been emphasis on diagnostics methods for Box-Cox power transformation, much of which has involved deletion of influential data cases. The pione…

Two extensions of stochastic logistic model for fish growth have been examined. The basic features of a logistic growth rate are deeply influenced by the carrying capacity of the system and the changes are periodical with time. Introduction of a new parameter…

In this paper, we find the ROC curves for Bi-Pareto and Bi-two parameter exponential distributions. Theoretical, parametric and non-parametric values of area under receiver operating characteristic (AUROC) curve for dif ferent parametric combinations have bee…
