World Journal of Condensed Matter Physics (WJCMP) covers the whole of condensed matter physics including soft condensed matter and nanostructures. Papers may report experimental, theoretical and simulation studies. Note that papers must contain fundamental condensed matter science: papers reporting methods of material…
A. Gonis
As pointed out in the paper preceding this one, in the case of functionals whose independent variable must obey conditions of integral normalization, conventional functional differentiation, defined in terms of an arbitrary test function, is generally inappli…
A. Gonis
It is shown that the process of conventional functional differentiation does not apply to functionals whose domain (and possibly range) is subject to the condition of integral normalization, as is the case with respect to a domain defined by wave functions or…

This article is the final part of the investigation of conduction mechanism of silicate glass doped by oxide compounds of ruthenium (thick film resistors). In the first part [1] , the formation of percolation levels due to diffusion of dopant atoms into the g…

The Seebeck coefficient S is a temperature- and material-dependent property, which linearly and causally relates the temperature difference △ T between the “hot” and “cold” junctions of a thermoelectric power generator (TEC-PG) to the voltage difference △ V .…

We have earlier proposed models of preformed hole pairs based on the results of our electron paramagnetic resonance experiments. A hole doped in a cuprate superconductor causes ferromagnetic alignment of the spins of the holes of 4 Cu 2+ ions of the plaquette…

We present an improvement of the finite temperature Lanczos method in order to apply this method to syste ms at very low temperature. One proposal is to introduce two steps in this method. In the first step, we use the Chebyshev polynomial expansion to calcul…
Vilius Palenskis
The general expressions, based on the Fermi distribution of the free electrons, are applied for calculation of the kinetic coefficients in donor-doped silicon at arbitrary degree of the degeneracy of electron gas under equilibrium conditions. The classical st…

At Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), superconducting 10 V circuits for the programmable Josephson voltage standard (PJVS) are routinely manufactured on the basis of Nb x Si 1-x barrier junctions. This paper describes in detail the basic design prin…
Dagne Atnafu, Poran Singh
The coexistence of superconductivity and spin density wave in SmO 1-x F x FeAs is theoretically studied using the model Hamiltonian which contains BCS type superconductivity and spin density wave terms. Employing green function formalism, the expression for t…

Carbon nanotubes have been synthesized by using petroleum coke (PC) as carbon source. Different position of the PC in the reactor chamber and some other reaction parameters is strongly influenced to quantity of the obtained CNTs and their characteristics such…

World Journal of Condensed Matter Physics (WJCMP) covers the whole of condensed matter physics including soft condensed matter and nanostructures. Papers may report experimental, theoretical and simulation studies. Note that papers must contain fundamental condensed matter science: papers reporting methods of material… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
