In this work, a model of convective drying of mango slices was developed and validated by experiments. This model was established by considering slices shrinkage in the energy and the mass balances during the thin layer drying. The drying kinetics and the tem…

In this work, three decentralized control configuration designs—independent, sequential and simultaneous designs—were used in multivariable feedback configurations for PI control of the riser and regenerator temperatures of FCCU in order to compare their perf…

Polymorphic transformation temperature of 2,2’:6’,2”-Terpyridine (terpy) has been studied. No transformation was observed for unground terpy (orthrhombic form) crystals, while the ground crystals may be transformed into monoclinic form. The transformation tem…

Background: Recently, SPN has become a much more frequently encountered issue in bronchology. Efficient and reliable guidance method for SPN morphological proof is highly needed. Objectives: The aim of study was to compare the diagnostic values of NIR (near i…

We have succeeded in causing reversible polymorphic transformation of 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine (terpy). By contacting a template terpy crystal with the target crystal, reversible orthorhombic-to-monoclinic transformation occurred directly without via melting st…

The adsorption behaviour of pyrene using clay and sandy soil under ambient conditions is investigated in this study. Adsorption equilibrium isotherms and adsorption kinetics experiments were carried out in solutions of pyrene concentrations (50 - 250 mg/l) by…

Anionic surfactants are the most widely exploited chemical surfactants, which are being incorporated into majority of detergents and cleaning products used for household and industrial applications. Linear alkylbenzene sulfonates (LAS) is one of the major xen…

Solid state mixtures of two reactants, 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde and 2-aminobenzonitrile, were melted at a temperature even lower than both the melting points. And dehydration condensation reaction occurred in the melt to give reaction product N-(2-cyanophen…

Advances in Chemical Engineering and Science (ACES) is an international journal serving as a forum for the presentation of research and review papers dealing with all aspects of advances in chemical engineering and science. All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
