American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…

Adomian decomposition method is presented as a method for the solution of the Burger’s equation, a popular PDE model in the fluid mechanics. The method is computationally simple in application. The approximate solution is obtained by considering only the firs…

The reduced basis methods (RBM) have been demonstrated as a promising numerical technique for statics problems and are extended to structural dynamic problems in this paper. Direct step-by-step integration and mode superposition are the most widely used metho…

The mathematical model is presented for the flow of peristaltic pumping of a conducting non-Newtonian fluid obeying Sisko model through a porous medium under the effect of magnetic field with heat and mass transfer. The solutions of the system of equations wh…

The paper outlines the development of a new, spectral method of simulating the Schr ö dinger equation in the momentum domain. The kinetic energy operator is approximated in the momentum domain by exploiting the derivative property of the Fourier transfor…

In this paper the Black Scholes differential equation is transformed into a parabolic heat equation by appropriate change in variables. The transformed equation is semi-discretized by the Method of Lines (MOL). The evolving system of ordinary differential equ…

The finite difference method such as alternating group iterative methods is useful in numerical method for evolutionary equations and this is the standard approach taken in this paper. Alternating group explicit (AGE) iterative methods for one-dimensional con…

In this letter, variational homotopy perturbation method (VHPM) has been studied to obtain solitary wave solutions of modified Camassa-Holm and Degasperis-Procesi equations. The results show that the VHPM is suitable for solving nonlinear differential equatio…

In the current article we propose a new efficient, reliable and breakdown-free algorithm for solving general opposite-bordered tridiagonal linear systems. An explicit formula for computing the determinant of an opposite-bordered tridiagonal matrix is investig…

A proper edge colouring f of a graph G is called acyclic if there are no bichromatic cycles in the graph. The acyclic edge chromatic number or acyclic chromatic index , denoted by , is the minimum number of colours in an acyclic edge colouring of G. In this p…

In this paper we discuss the finite element models (FEM) using electromagnetic theory—Maxwell’s equations. Next we developed a new procedure for optimization with the idea to be implemented in the standard IEEE-80 (2013). We expose those ideas in the paper. E…

All manuscripts must be pre… All articles are open access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, with authors retaining copyright.
Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
