American Journal of Computational Mathematics (AJCM) is a journal dedicated to providing a platform for publication of articles about mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic methods. All manuscripts must be pre…
Xijian Wang
The paper first introduces two-dimensional convection-diffusion equation with boundary value condition, later uses the finite difference method to discretize the equation and analyzes positive definite, diagonally dominant and symmetric properties of the disc…
Dinesh Panthi, Kanhaiya Jha, Pavan Kumar Jha, P. Sumati Kumari
Dislocated metric space differs from metric space for a property that self distance of a point needs not to be equal to zero. This property plays an important role to deal with the problems of various disciplines to obtain fixed point results. In this article…

Let the numbers be defined by <br/> , where <br/> and are the exponential complete Bell polynomials. In this paper, by means of the methods of Riordan arrays, we establish general identities involving the numbers , binomial coefficients and inverse of binomia…
Rafik Aramyan, 1 1
In this article, we study necessary and sufficient conditions for a function, defined on the space of flags to be the projection curvature radius function for a convex body. This type of inverse problems has been studied by Christoffel, Minkwoski for the case…
Mohammad Zannon, Basma Al-Shutnawi, Hussam Alrabaiah
This paper presents the stress resultants of hyperbolic paraboloidal shells using higher order shear deformation theory recently developed by Zannon [1]-[3]. The equilibrium equations of motion use Hamilton’s minimum energy principle for a simply supported cr…
Gangjoon Yoon, Chohong Min
We consider the standard five-point finite difference method for solving the Poisson equation with the Dirichlet boundary condition. Its associated matrix is a typical ill-conditioned matrix whose size of the condition number is as big as . Among ILU, SGS, mo…
Shuang Z. Tu
This paper summarizes a Riemann-solver-free spacetime discontinuous Galerkin method developed for general conservation laws. The method integrates the best features of the spacetime Conservation Element/Solution Element (CE/SE) method and the discontinuous Ga…
Sheikh Anwar Hossain, M. A. Alim, S. K. Saha
The problem of Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) free convection heat transfer in a square open cavity containing a heated circular cylinder at the centre has been investigated in this work. As boundary conditions of the cavity, the left vertical wall is kept at a co…
Adeyemi Isaiah Fagbade, Bidemi Olumide Falodun, Chika Uchechukwu Boneze
This paper presents an application of the spectral homotopy analysis method (SHAM) to solve a problem of darcy-forcheimer mixed convection flow in a porous medium in the presence of magnetic field, viscous dissipation and thermopherisis. A mathematical model…

Short Retraction Notice The paper does not meet the standards of "American Journal of Computational Mathematics". This article has been retracted to straighten the academic record. In making this decision the Editorial Board follows COPE's Retraction Guidelin…

Authors submit their manuscript, metadata, and declarations through the portal. There is no submission fee.
The editorial office screens the manuscript for scope, completeness, and formatting before assigning a handling editor.
At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript under single-blind review. Where revisions are required, authors respond point by point.
On acceptance the article processing charge is invoiced and the CC BY 4.0 copyright handover is signed.
The article is copyedited, typeset, and given a DOI, then publishes open access with a permanent link.
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submit in Microsoft Word or LaTeX with figures at 300 dpi minimum. Structure research articles as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
Use the journal's numbered (Vancouver) reference style. Cite sources consecutively in the order they appear, and ensure every reference is complete and retrievable.
